This series of articles although written by someone in Tennessee about Tennessee because Senator Lamar Alexander comes from Tennessee, this applies to the whole nation. Why? Because he has pushed for cradle to grave control over our children ever since I can remember and he has finally gotten his wish. Congress sided with him in the passage of the current Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). This legislation is set up to do the direct opposite of the title and you will do well to know who this man is that has sat in Congress all these years with the desire of the control of your children being not only under the Federal government, but the New World Order.
SENATOR LAMAR ALEXANDER: NEO-CON TROTSKYITE
PART 1
"It is a known fact that the policies of the government today, whether Republican or Democrat are closer to the 1932 platform of the Communist Party than they are to either of their own party platforms in that critical year." —Walter Trohan (1903-2003) Chicago Tribune reporter (1929-1972) and bureau chief in Washington, D.C. Source: CHICAGO TRIBUNE, October 5, 1970, (Look at us 81 years later!)
Senator Lamar Alexander has been a thorn in Tennessee's side since 1979. He is not a conservative Republican. In fact, truth be known, he has sided with Obama over 62% of the time. [Link] Right now he is acting as the bagman for his buddy, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam, and his great desire to tax the internet and put more small businesses out-of-business.
First though, let's look at Lamar's history. He has worked in the private sector for only short periods of time. Lamar was Born in Maryville, Tennessee, which is only 20 minutes from where I live. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University andNew York University School of Law.
In 1967, Alexander joined the campaign of Howard Baker, who became the first Tennessee Republican elected to the Senate in four decades. Alexander then accompanied him to Washington.
It was at a Hill staff softball game that he met his wife, Leslee "Honey" Buhler. She was working for Senator John Tower, the man instrumental in getting John McCain elected to the House. In the early years of their marriage, she raised their four children while doing volunteer work, specifically for Planned Parenthood. She was also a member of the board of the Corporation of Public Broadcasting (NPR and PBS). MORE

PART 2
"The portrait that emerges of this early Lamar looks an awful lot like that of his mentor Howard Baker -- centrist, non-ideological, and, as one Washington insider put it, 'quintessentially establishment.'" —Lisa Schiffren
What Alexander Believes
Former Tennessee Governor, and U. S. Secretary of Education, Lamar Alexander, wrote a number of autobiographical books. "Steps Along the Way: A Governor's Scrapbook," published in 1986, includes an interesting statement by Alexander. He said, "The book that changed my thinking the most during the last ten years was, 'A God Within,' by Rene' Dubos." (p.85).
From Vol. 1, Number 1, Free World Research, Iowa Report, November 1992, comes the following information.
Dubos' book is subtitled, "A positive approach to man's future as part of the natural world." An examination of its contents reveal that Lamar Alexander has been highly influenced by New Age environmentalism. For example, Dubos asserts, "The earth is literally our mother, not only because we depend on her for nurture and shelter, but even more because the human species has been shaped by her in the womb of evolution." (p 38) He further asserts that, "Our salvation depends upon our ability to create a religion of nature and substitute for magic suited to the needs and knowledge of modern man." (p. 41). Ahhh yes, he thinks pantheism is the answer!
Dubos, in addition to referring to the earth as a "living organism" on page 43, also goes so far as to say this, "Both polytheism and monotheism are losing the ancient power in the modern world, and for this reason it is commonly assumed that present age is irreligious. But we may instead be moving to a higher level of religion." (p. 42).
The fact that this book has so affected Lamar Alexander is noteworthy when one considers Dubos' view of science."Science is at present evolving from the description of concrete objects and events to the study of relationships as observed in complex systems. We may be about to recapture an experience of harmony, as intimation of the divine, from our scientific knowledge of the process through which the earth became prepared for human life, and the mechanisms through which man relates to the universe as a whole. A truly ecological view of the world has religious overtones (p. 42-43). Dubos further states, "One of the worst demonic forces in technological civilization is the craving for growth, which is enhanced by countless institutional devices ranging from national prestige to real-estate promotion and other forms of commercial advertising." (p. 313) MORE

PART 3
"We've always been suspicious of Lamar. To hear him running around calling himself an "activist conservative" and mentioning Ronald Reagan's name every 30 seconds is just amazing! He never did anything for Reagan; in fact, those of us with Reagan were just about written out of the [Tennessee Republican] party. He was an anti-conservative who never supported a conservative in a Republican primary." —Lloyd Daugherty, chairman of the Tennessee Conservative Union
Alexander and Common Core
The development of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) (see “The Curriculum Reformation”) i.e., national education standards, dates back to the first Bush administration, when Secretary of Education, Lamar Alexander, called for voluntary national standards and testing. After the Clinton administration’s attempt failed in the mid-1990s, efforts to implement national standards lay dormant until the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation decided to make them a top priority. Beginning in 2007, the foundation funded the development of national English and math standards. It also supported organizations like Achieve, theNational Governors Association (NGA), (basically aRockefeller Association), the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) which under the auspices of the School to Work Opportunities Act moved to implement comprehensive "reform" and the best "international lessons" for the global work force, and the Fordham Institute, (who believes conservatives should support CC) all of which advocated for national standards. [Link]
The NGA and CCSSO are D.C. trade associations, neither of which had a grant of legislative authority from the states to write national school standards. Both of them along with Achieve have accepted $27 million from Gates Foundation. Bill Ayers' political connections, (with both Obama and his Education Czar, Arne Duncan, through the Annenberg Challenge), has been instrumental in promoting Common Core. [Link]
Ze’ev Wurman—a Silicon Valley high-tech executive and former federal education official who played a central role in developing California’s standards—says that the Gates Foundation’s total investment in the national standards reached $100 million last year. The Foundation has plans to spend another $150 million.
Senator Lamar Alexander published an op-ed in which heclaimed that the Obama Administration has allowed increased state choice in schools:
“My colleagues and I agree with the Obama administration that after a decade of federal rules, more responsibility needs to go back to the states. No Child Left Behind has made one thing clear: when it comes to education reform, the states are both highly capable and highly motivated. Since 2002, 44 states and territories have adoptedcommon core academic standards, two groups of states are developing common tests for those standards and 44 states are collaborating on common principles for holding schools accountable for student achievement.” MORE

SENATOR LAMAR ALEXANDER: NEO-CON TROTSKYITE
PART 5
“The best way to take control over a people and control them utterly is to take a little of their freedom at a time, to erode rights by a thousand tiny and almost imperceptible reductions. In this way the people will not see those rights and freedoms being removed until past the point at which these changes cannot be reversed." --Adolph Hitler
"The portrait that emerges of this early Lamar looks an awful lot like that of his mentor Howard Baker -- centrist, non-ideological, and, as one Washington insider put it, 'quintessentially establishment.'" --Lisa Schiffren
What is a Neo-Con Trotskyite?
Forty or fifty years ago or more, those who have become leaders in today's Republican party drifted away from Trotskyism and began to identify themselves as democratic socialists. Still later, under the guise of neo-cons Irving Kristol and William F. Buckley, who emasculated true old right conservatism, slithered into the Republican party as "moderates." They stole the name of "conservative" and seized intellectual control of the true conservatives, as well as the entire Republican party.
Leon Trotsky must not be ignored. Trotsky, unlike Stalin and Lenin, favored the slow and patient imposition of Marxist socialism without murders and gulags. Trotsky wished for the people to "choose" Marxism, rather than having it forced upon them. Irving Kristol, father of Bill Kristol, stated, "I regard myself as lucky to have been a young Trotskyite and I have not a single bitter memory."
The current followers of Trotskyite socialism and internationalism are the neo-conservatives. Most have no objection to steering America away from personal freedom and national independence and literally undermining and eroding the people's freedom. There are several books which expose the reality of the Republican neo-con Trotskyites. Undeniably the best, is John McManus's brilliant book, "William F. Buckley, Pied Piper for the Establishment." This book is so well documented, you will want to keep it in your library for reference.
Senator Lamar Alexander, along with the vast majority of Republicans, both those in Congress, the White House, and the governor's mansions, are neo-con Trotskyites. This is why they have no chutzpah, no backbone, no stalwart stand for Constitutional rights. They are holding the door open for the far left's agenda. They are the false friends, and they are more dangerous than an open enemy.
So, let's take a look at what other leftist agenda items Senator Lamar Alexander has promoted over the years.
