Never forget Parents - Common Core had been accepted and voted on in your individual states before you had ever heard the words Common Core or knew what it meant - BUT, the states had NOTHING to do with it's creation and as you can see below, the states are forbidden to claim any rights to the CCSS. They are owned by the NGA Center and the CCSSO which is led by former Governors of our various states. The Standards were "adopted" by the states, never created by the states.
